Below you'll find answers to some questions potential new clients commonly ask me. If you have a question not answered below, please feel free to reach out to me.
How much does it cost to work with you?
To help prioritize clients that are most serious about working together, I charge a nominal planning fee after our initial free vacation planning session if we decide to move forward with the trip planning. But there is no charge for the initial call.
I just need to book flights, can you help me?
In order to focus on that clients that want the comprehensive vacation planning services that I offer, I don’t typically book air only itineraries. My services include helping you decide when and where to travel, exactly where to stay and how to get there, as well as recommendations for tours, things to see and do and more.
How do you get paid?
I make the majority of my revenue from commissions paid by the tour operator, supplier or hotel we book your trip through. That said, my business is built on repeat customers and referrals, so I always make recommendations based on what I think will best serve your interests, not who is paying me more or less.
What if something goes wrong when I’m traveling?
In addition to having access to me while you’re traveling if you need help, my travel partners (tour operators, insurance companies, etc.) have 24/7 support for my clients as well, so you will always have someone to help you if something unexpected happens.
Why do I have to make an appointment to talk to you?
I find that a short conversation helps me get to know my clients better and get a better sense of what they want to see and do, which in turn means I can make better recommendations. Some clients come to me unsure about where they want to travel or they end up changing their minds about their destination based on our conversation – I really work hard to help you have a wonderful trip every step of the way.
